Qualifications

  • Current independent or supervised clinical license in Ohio or license-eligible.
  • Training in evidence-based therapies (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT, trauma-informed care).
  • Experience in outpatient or college counseling/behavioral health settings.
  • Competence in risk assessment, crisis intervention, and safety planning.
  • Strong clinical documentation and electronic health record (EHR) skills.
  • Eligibility to work in a university-affiliated medical environment.
  • Demonstrated cultural competence and commitment to equity and inclusion.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient individual, group, and family therapy to students and community clients
  • Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and diagnostic evaluations
  • Develop and update evidence-based treatment plans aligned with client goals
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and outcome measures
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, physicians, faculty, and campus partners for coordinated care
  • Provide crisis intervention and risk assessment as needed
  • Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Engage in outreach, psychoeducation, or training to support student wellness
  • Adhere to ethical, legal, and regulatory standards of clinical practice

About the role
