Job summary

Owens & Minor is seeking a Manager of University Recruitment to design, implement, and run our early-career talent strategy, focusing on internships and new graduates. You will lead campus partnerships, university engagement, and entry-level pipelines across key business areas.

You will collaborate with Talent Acquisition and business stakeholders to attract, assess, and develop emerging talent while ensuring a positive candidate experience and a clear growth pathway into leadership roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in HR, Business, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of talent acquisition/university recruiting experience.
• Experience leading internship or rotational programs.
• Knowledge of campus recruiting best practices and early-career development.
• Experience managing full-cycle recruitment processes.
• Strong project and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience using Workday or a similar ATS.
• Experience presenting to groups and at recruiting events.
• Travel ~30% will vary during recruitment seasons.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and executing the campus recruiting strategy aligned to workforce planning needs.
• Manage full-cycle recruiting activities for intern and new graduate programs.
• Build and maintain relationships with colleges, universities, technical schools, and student organizations.
• Coordinate campus recruiting events including fairs, sessions, and virtual events.
• Partner with business leaders to identify future hiring needs and talent pipelines.
• Maintain a campus recruiting calendar and manage all recruiting activities throughout the academic year.
• Evaluate recruiting outcomes and implement improvements to enhance programs.
• Track intern performance and identify candidates for conversion to full-time roles.
• Coordinate end-to-end internship program experiences from recruiting to completion.
• Support intern onboarding, orientation, engagement, and performance checkpoints.
