Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Health Promotion/Health Education, Public Health, or a closely related field.
• One year related experience.
• CHES certification or ability to obtain within first year is strongly preferred.
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Effective presentation skills for varied populations and learning styles.
• Experience with social media and other multimedia platforms.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive substance abuse prevention programming for students and the campus community.
• Manage prevention and intervention efforts, including individual student meetings and coordination with campus partners.
• Ensure compliance with relevant federal laws and regulations, contributing to required reports and campus notifications.
• Train, mentor, and engage peer educators in prevention initiatives and ongoing programming strategies.
• Manage program assessment, evaluation metrics, data collection, and reporting for QA and improvement.
• Develop educational outreach materials, training sessions, communication, and marketing strategies for campus audiences.
• Collaborate with campus and community stakeholders to support broader wellbeing initiatives and divisional goals.
