Job summary

Follett Higher Education is seeking a Campus Store Leader at the CPCC Levine Campus Bookstore in Matthews, NC. You will support a Market Leader or Campus Store Manager, driving sales growth while delivering brand and operational excellence through an engaging customer experience.

You will mentor a team, oversee daily operations, and manage tasks such as promotions, inventory, POS, and store safety, with an emphasis on customer service, teamwork, and achievement of financial goals.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent.
• 0-5 years of relevant experience.
• Academic retail experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong customer service, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical skills and financial acumen.
• Advanced relationship building, a demonstrated ability to influence a team, and customer outreach.
• Travel: minimal - less than 10%.

Responsibilities

• Execute store plans and daily operations for both traditional and rush periods.
• Promote sales through events and promotions; review store financials and recalibrate goals.
• Operate cash registers and store systems with safe cash handling procedures.
• Maintain inventory control and visually appealing merchandising.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle inquiries and escalations.
• Supervise and train team members; schedule hours within budget.
• Collaborate with campus relationships to communicate store activities.
