Barnes & Noble College is seeking a Campus Retail Associate to deliver superior customer service and support store leaders in all facets of retail operations. You will engage customers, process transactions, and help maintain an inviting store environment.

Temporary positions run about 90 days with weekly availability, including weekends, and shifts from opening to closing. A friendly attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16 for employment eligibility.
• Comfortable engaging customers and delivering an elevated experience.
• Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Basic math, keyboarding, and data entry skills.
• Flexible availability throughout the academic year, including peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist with processing sales transactions involving cash, credit, or financial aid payments.
• Greet customers and focus on a positive in-store experience.
• Support store operations including operating the cash register and speed of service.
• Keep the store looking fresh by shelving, arranging, cleaning, and organizing products.
• Availability to work weekly for up to 90 days with occasional weekends and varied shifts.
• Routine housekeeping such as dusting, mopping, and trash removal.
