Sussex County Community College is seeking a professional, friendly, and customer-focused individual to join our Campus Store team. The Part-Time Campus Store Employee member will provide exceptional service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors while contributing to a welcoming and well-organized retail environment.

To be considered for this position, you must be a current active SCCC student.

The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about supporting student success, communicates clearly, and works well in a collaborative setting. This part time position will be scheduled for approximately 10-24 hours per week during the spring semester.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner.
• Provide friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable assistance to all customers.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting store environment to enhance the shopping experience.
• Process sales transactions accurately using a point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Follow procedures for organizing merchandise and maintaining accurate inventory control and record keeping.
• Assist with stocking shelves and displaying products in a neat and visually appealing manner.
• Work collaboratively with other store employees to achieve common goals.
• Adhere to all store policies and procedures.
• Report any inventory discrepancies or shortages to the supervisor
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to address any questions, concerns, or operational needs
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
