Job summary

Lone Star College in Conroe, TX is seeking a Part Time Assistant II, Recreational Sports to support students in the game room and fields, monitor IDs, and assist with intramural and club sports. You may also help with special Office of Sports and Recreation projects, including mascot duties.

Hours include evenings and weekends, outdoors in heat or cold. A high school diploma or GED is required, as is CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days.

• CPR/First Aid certification required or willingness to obtain within 30 days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with needs in game room and sports fields.
• Check student IDs and support student clubs and sport organizations.
• Assist with running intramural and club sports, on and off campus.
• Assist with Community Service Projects as needed.
• Promote and implement sports and rec programs.
• Maintain athletic supplies and equipment and assist in event setup/breakdown.
• Answer questions related to sports programs and handle inquiries via phone/email.
