Lone Star College‑Montgomery is seeking a Part Time Assistant II, Recreational Sports to support students in the game room and sports fields, check IDs, and assist with intramural and club sports. The role may involve mascot duties and special projects through the Office of Sports and Recreation.

Responsibilities include running events, maintaining equipment, promoting student retention, and serving as a campus resource. Evening/weekend hours and outdoor work in varying weather are expected.

Qualifications

• Computer experience required.

• Officiating intramural games.

Responsibilities

• Implement and promote sports and rec programs.
• Assist in maintenance of all athletic supplies and equipment.
• Assist in set-up and breakdown of Sports and Rec events.
• Develop activities that promote and increase student retention and success.
• Serve as a community resource person and represent the college when requested.
• Assist students, employees, and community members with questions related to the sports programs.
• Answer phone calls and emails in Sports and Rec department.
• Ensure safe and structured programs.
• Abide by all rules in college's Policy and Procedure manual, including safety waivers, recruitment of players, GPA, and eligibility guidelines.
