Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma and one year experience operating a motor vehicle.
• Valid driver's license required; computer literacy.
• Ability to work overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Transports employees, students, and visitors to MUSC and areas within the assigned area of operations; operates vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Maintains administrative and operational logs (inspection forms, mileage logs, passenger counts, incident reports, training updates).
• Communicates with passengers about schedules and services; keeps thorough records and reports accidents or incidents.
• Performs fueling and cleaning of the vehicle; conducts pre/post-vehicle inspections and adds fluids as needed; works in all weather.
• Substitutes for other drivers and handles day trips as assigned.
