Job summary

Arizona International is seeking a Transportation Driver II (Academic) to operate a multi-passenger ADA‑compliant shuttle on campus routes for students and staff, following established schedules and safety protocols. The role requires a CDL with Passenger Endorsement and involves driving various shuttle vehicles to designated locations and events.

The position is 9 months long with summers off, shift from 11:30 AM to 8:30 PM on weekdays, and includes benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or high school diploma equivalency is required.
• Three (3) years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license and ability to drive according to the University Fleet Safety Policy.

Responsibilities

• Operates a variety of multi-passenger vehicles (varies from 14-32 seats) to transport passengers to and from designated University locations and events.
• Performs routine service and maintenance of University vehicle(s) including fueling, cleaning, and checking fluids to ensure safe operation.
• Adheres to CDL regulations and Fleet Safety Policy; follows Standard Operating Policies and job Performance Standards.
• Performs pre and/or post-trip inspections and reports mechanical or safety issues.
• Maintains cleanliness of shuttle area and supports additional duties as needed.
