Job summary

Northcentral Technical College seeks a Security Supervisor to safeguard the campus, supervise student workers, and support daily security operations. You will coordinate security activities, respond to incidents, and ensure student safety and excellent customer service across the campus community.

The role involves conducting screenings, patrolling, incident reporting, and collaboration with HR and Student Services for Clery Act and Title IX compliance. A strong total rewards package is offered.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent required.
• Two years of security or public safety experience.
• Experience coordinating student workers in an educational setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct security screenings at the Alternative High School, including metal detector checks.
• Patrol campus areas, respond to safety concerns, and provide personal escort assistance.
• Assist with vehicle jump-starts, lock-outs, lost and found, and directions.
• Oversee scheduling, training, and coordination of student security workers.
• Provide educational security presentations to employees and students.
• Conduct investigations and document incidents and safety concerns.
• Ensure documentation in Maxient and support Clery Act compliance.
• Respond to campus emergencies and activate emergency protocols.
• Monitor facility hazards and submit maintenance work orders.
• Oversee fire extinguisher inspections and safety compliance.
• Provide event security for graduations and special events.
