Job summary

Cherry Creek Schools is seeking a District Security professional to patrol campuses, monitor behavior, enforce policies, and assist administrators and public officials in emergencies. This non-exempt, full-time position may require varying hours including evenings and weekends.

Incumbents will be assigned across sites but may be relocated to meet operational needs. Required are a high school diploma, security-related experience, CPR/First Aid, CPI, and ICS 100 within specified timeframes, plus a

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Security, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Regular and predictable attendance.
• Attired in appropriate uniform as designated.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and various software applications.
• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required for hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and security of students and campus with high visibility.
• Monitor lunch periods and supervise students as assigned.
• Assist in investigations using security cameras and notify administrators.
• Discuss infractions with students and document incidents for admin review.
• Support supervision during study halls, after-school detention, or events.
• Be available for events outside school hours and other assignments.
