Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Shift Supervisor for a university medical school in University City, Philadelphia, PA. You will lead security operations for a high-profile campus, enforce post orders, and deter incidents on your shift.

Responsibilities include directing officers, scheduling, training, and ensuring contract compliance while maintaining quality service and strong customer relations. A robust security background and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current and valid driver’s license.
• At least one of: associate’s degree or active-duty military/military reserves/National Guard or auxiliary police/police cadets.
• Minimum of two years of verifiable security/work experience with strong customer service.
• Excellent communication, reporting, and organizational skills.
• Ability to apply written and verbal orders and prepare reports.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site post orders.
• Provide direction to subordinates and oversee on-site training.
• Cross-train officers to increase versatility and site efficiency.
• Make productivity and cost reduction recommendations to management.
• Draft and update security surveys and post orders.
• Recommend personnel actions for staff under supervision.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling and on-site training for the shift.
• Ensure contract-required training and screening elements are met.
• Minimize overtime and ensure contract compliance.
• Inspect security personnel and performance to maintain service quality.
