Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Flex - Unarmed in Glendale, CA. The role offers part-time shifts at $19.00 per hour with opportunities across healthcare, education, finance, and more.

You’ll have access to a shift pickup platform to build a schedule that fits your availability while gaining site experience across industries. Responsibilities include patrolling, monitoring access, responding to incidents, and assisting clients and visitors professionally.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check and drug screen per employment policy.
• Valid driver’s license if operating company or customer vehicles.
• Be at least 18 years old (21 if armed in some states).
• No prior experience required, ability to adapt to different posts.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire departments as needed.
• Warn violators of rules (loitering, smoking, etc.).
• Monitor entrances and exits and authorize access.
• Observe and protect company property from theft or loss.
• Investigate incidents and maintain logs; prepare reports.
