Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Customer Service Patrol) in Allentown, PA. You will monitor campus areas, deter incidents, and assist students, staff, and visitors with professionalism.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with access control/badge management preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred and company-paid.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff and visitors while following site-specific security procedures.
• Respond to incidents in a calm, professional manner and notify campus personnel or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, assist visitors and report suspicious activity or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare timely activity and incident reports in accordance with Allied Universal procedures.
