Job summary

Allied Universal® is hiring a Security Officer (Part Time) in Allentown, PA. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence, deter incidents, and deliver excellent customer service while following site policies.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation as per federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local law.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at a technology/telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and access-control concerns calmly.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility, grounds, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity following site procedures.
• Complete activity logs and incident reports, communicating with leadership.
