Job summary

Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada is seeking a Campus Security Officer to protect people and property on the main campus in Las Vegas. You will observe, report and enforce safety policies across all CCSN programs, coordinating with local authorities as needed.

The role requires vigilance, strong communication, and the ability to manage incidents calmly. Two 12-hour shifts and two 8-hour shifts comprise the schedule, with a starting wage of $18.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of security operations and procedures to protect people and property.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure campus environment for clients, visitors and staff.
• Read, understand, implement and enforce CCSN policies and procedures on campus.
• Observe, report and document violations of policy, safety or security.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders as needed.
• Display professionalism and diffuse confrontational situations when possible.
• All other duties as assigned.
