Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is hiring a Full-Time Campus Security Officer at a high-profile campus in Manhattan, NY. The role features three shifts: 6:45 AM–2:45 PM, 2:45 PM–10:45 PM, and 10:45 PM–6:45 AM.

Pay is $18.87 per hour with weekly pay and full-time employment. Requirements include an active NYS Security Guard License and a valid F-01 Fireguard certification, prior security experience, the ability to commute to Manhattan, strong communication and de-escalation skills, and

Qualifications

• Active NYS Security Guard License required.
• Valid F-01 Fireguard certification required.
• Prior security experience preferred (campus/educational/institutional).
• Must commute reliably to Manhattan, NY.
• Strong communication, de-escalation, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor required.
• Weekend availability and shift flexibility required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible and professional security presence on campus.
• Monitor student, faculty, staff, and visitor activity.
• Conduct routine patrols of buildings and surrounding areas.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and safety concerns.
• Enforce campus policies and security procedures.
• Provide professional customer service.
• Complete incident reports and required documentation.
• Collaborate with campus personnel and security team to address safety concerns.
