Job summary

Securitas, Inc. is seeking a Campus Security Officer for a part-time role based in Helena, Montana. You will help maintain a safe environment by monitoring premises, controlling access, and patrolling various locations, including responding to incidents during assigned shifts.

The position requires you to be 18+, have a High School Diploma or GED, and demonstrate strong customer service and vigilance. A flexible schedule includes overnight Fri/Sat and a 16/24 hour pay arrangement.

Campus Security Officer - Part Time

Primary Location: Helena, MT

Wage: $21.00/HR

Overnight Shift: Fri & Sat: 11PM - 7AM

TheCampus Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order whileenforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

Flex Agreement

Work 16hrs paid for 24hrs at $21.00/HR, with the reasonable expectation officer will cover other shifts that become available due to call offs / no shows.

What You Can Expect

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to theclient’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Driver Certification.
