Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Driver Patrol Route Inspector in Redwood City, CA. The role includes patrolling campuses, delivering customer service, and driving on site to monitor access and respond to incidents.

We require two years of security experience, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma. CPR certification and a guard card are preferred, with background checks and drug screening as applicable.

Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience required.
• A valid driver’s license is required per policy.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Must be at least 18 (unarmed roles) / 21+ (armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen may be required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report hazards, policy violations, and maintenance concerns.
• Document patrol activities and communicate information during shift transitions.
