Job summary

Applitrack seeks a school safety assistant to help enforce handbook rules and supervise the In-School Suspension room. The role involves monitoring students across campus and parking lot during school hours, and working closely with Deans and the safety committee to support daily operations.

The candidate will assist in emergency responses and drills, while handling day-to-day tasks and additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of staff, parents and students.
• Calm demeanor and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Basic math and computer skills including Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist in enforcing rules and regulations per the school handbook.
• Supervise In-School Suspension room and other supervision duties.
• Oversee students in various locations during school hours, including the parking lot.
• Coordinate with Deans daily and assist on the safety committee.
• Support emergency responses and drills with school personnel.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
