Job summary

The San Diego Unified School District is seeking a Campus Security Assistant at La Jolla High School to patrol campus, supervise students, and assist in enforcing rules for pupil safety. This full-time role supports a safe learning environment across a 10-month, 40-hour-per-week schedule.

Starting date is to be determined; bilingual skills may apply for some vacancies. Salary ranges from $20.65 to $25.72 per hour, with district health benefits for employees and eligible dependents for 20+ hours

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One year of working with youth or security experience desirable
• Bilingual skills may be required for some positions

Responsibilities

• Patrol campus and adjacent property to ensure school security and pupil safety.
• Supervise pupils on campus and at school activities.
• Assist in the enforcement of rules and regulations.
