VACANCY / POSITION SPECIFICS:

• Working Location: La Jolla High School -3366 Park Blvd, San Diego, CA 92103(Area C )
• Work Schedule: 10months per year /40hours per week.
• Salary: This position is paid on theParaeducatorSalary Schedule. Grade026. To view the Salary Schedule,clickhere .
• Positions 20 hours per week or greater qualify for District-paid health and wellness benefits for the employee and their eligible dependents.
• Vacancies thatrequirethe incumbent to be Bilingual will be noted.Candidates considered for positions that require bilingual skills will be invited to a Performance Test (Qualifying Only) for oral and written fluency. Bilingual positions qualify for a 5% bilingual differential.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience:

Any combination of training, experience, and/or education equivalent to graduation from high school. One year of working with youth in an organized setting and/or security guard experience is desirable. Some positions may require bilingual verbal, written, and translation skills.
