Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent and some paid or volunteer leadership experience with teenagers.
• Knowledge of campus control and supervision techniques.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with staff, students, and parents.

Responsibilities

• Assist with student control on grounds and buildings.
• Provide leadership to earn student respect and cooperation with rules.
• Check passes and report unauthorized absences to administration.
• Check visitors' passes and direct visitors to the office.
• Identify safety hazards and report them to administrators.
• Monitor student behavior and deter minor infractions.
• Operate a two-way radio for communication with campus staff.
• Monitor parking lots and traffic flow; open/close gates.
• Assist with crowd control at school events.
• Perform other related duties as required.
