Torrance Unified School District is hiring part-time campus monitors to supervise students and ensure safety protocols on school grounds. Positions are 5–20 hours per week, 10 months per year, across 193 days, with an oral technical interview and potential Zoom testing as part of the selection process.

Under direct supervision, monitors ensure rules are followed, aid in maintaining a safe environment, and assist in basic student supervision—experience with children is desirable.

Qualifications

• Monitors the school campus to ensure that student safety protocols are observed and playground rules and regulations are followed by students.
• Some experience in the care of children is desirable.
