Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or CHSPE required
• Associates degree preferred
• Spanish and English fluency required
• 1–2 years’ experience in urban schools or related setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Observe and provide limited control of student behavior in non-classroom activities before, during and after school hours to maintain a safe campus environment.
• Monitor restrooms, buildings, halls, walkways, eating areas, and parking lots for unauthorized activities.
• Escort students and visitors around campus and direct them to the administration office as needed.
• Provide translation support during peak hours or as requested.
• Assist with crowd control at school events and support school office staff as back up clerical when needed.
