Job summary

Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District is seeking a Yard Duty Supervisor to help oversee student safety and conduct on campus during assigned periods. The role includes enforcing campus policies, reporting incidents, and supporting staff in maintaining a safe learning environment.

Responsibilities include monitoring behavior, reporting injuries, handling referrals, and assisting with supervision of students outside class times.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience as supervisor of school age students preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students and adults.
• Familiarity with campus rules and discipline procedures.
• Willingness to meet employment requirements and clearances.

Responsibilities

• Inform students of acceptable school behavior.
• Monitor student conduct and enforce campus rules.
• Report injuries and complete required forms promptly.
• Intercede in conflicts and write referrals when needed.
• Escort students for serious or repeated violations.
• Direct tardy students to the appropriate office.
• Monitor for unauthorized visitors and notify administration.
• Maintain safety of duty areas and wear district attire.
