Job summary

Livermoreschools is seeking a Yard Duty Supervisor to oversee student safety and conduct on campus during assigned periods. The role involves monitoring behavior, enforcing campus rules, and assisting in the resolution of conflicts to maintain a safe learning environment.

The position requires the ability to communicate effectively with students and staff, report injuries promptly, and stay physically capable for long periods of standing or walking.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience as supervisor of school age students.
• Combination of education, training and/or job experience necessary to perform the essential functions of the job.
• Pre-employment proficiency test may be required.
• Meet employment requirements as applicable with state, federal, and local laws, and Board Policy.

Responsibilities

• Inform students of acceptable school behavior.
• Monitor student conduct in and around campus; enforce campus rules and regulations.
• Immediately report student injuries and complete required accident forms.
• Intercede in potential problem situations between students and assist staff in discipline.
• Escort students to the administration in cases of serious or repeated violations.
• Report safety hazards and vandalism to administration.
• Wear District-designated attire during assigned work hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
