Job summary

VALLEJO CITY UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT seeks a Site Safety Supervisor reporting to the Operations Manager of Business Services and Operations. The role supervises student safety outside classrooms, on grounds, and at extra-curricular events, with duties including incident reporting and legal documentation.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid CA driver’s license, and completion of mandatory safety trainings within six months.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience involving public contact responsibilities; including experience working with youth in a supervisory capacity.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high visibility presence in a mandatory district dress uniform.
• Monitor student behavior and movement around campus.
• Enforce school regulations and intervene regarding student conduct outside classrooms.
• Complete written reports and serve as a witness in disciplinary proceedings.
• Escort students for administrative intervention and diffuse conflicts between students.
