Job summary

Cherry Creek Careers is seeking a District Security professional to patrol campuses, deter unsafe behavior, monitor cameras, and enforce safety policies across sites. The role supports administrators and public officials in emergencies, with possible evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred.
• Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and office equipment.
• Basic verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in high-stress environments.
• Commitment to confidentiality (HIPAA, FERPA) and community safety.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and security of students and campus with high visibility.
• Monitor classrooms, hallways, grounds, and parking areas.
• Intervene in verbal and physical incidents and enforce safety policies.
• Assist administrators during crises and report unsafe conditions.
• Monitor lunch periods and supervision duties as assigned.
• Support events outside school hours and after-school programs.
