Job summary

Cherry Creek School District is seeking an Hourly District Event Security professional to patrol venues, monitor spectators, and enforce district policies during events. This role requires vigilance, quick decision-making, and the ability to work varied hours including evenings and weekends.

As part of the District Security and Athletics Departments, incumbents may be assigned to different site locations to support operational needs and ensure a safe environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required
• HSE diploma required
• Security, law enforcement, or military experience
• Minimum age of 21 years old
• Colorado driver’s license
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and radio procedures
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
• Ability to work in a high-stress environment

Responsibilities

• Maintain the safety and security of events with high visibility throughout the venue.
• Mediate infractions and document incidents for administrators.
• Assist in investigations using security cameras and searches when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
