Job summary

MCAD is seeking a Campus Safety Officer to maintain a safe, secure campus environment while delivering a high level of customer service. The officer reports to the Campus Safety Supervisor and works 40 hours weekly in a full-time, non-exempt role.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, valid driver's license, First Aid/CPR certification, and security experience in a college setting. The position may require after-hours or weekend shifts and involves patrolling, incident reporting, safety

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• First Aid/CPR certification strongly preferred.
• Security experience in a college environment preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Patrol campus buildings and surrounding areas and report incidents.
• Respond to campus safety needs and emergencies with tact and professionalism.
• Monitor safety systems and coordinate with security staff.
• Prepare incident reports for internal and external distribution.
• Enforce campus parking rules and safety policies.
• Represent MCAD’s values and create an inclusive environment.
