Job summary

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication in English.
• Valid Hawaii guard card or ability to obtain one.
• First Aid/CPR/AED certification required during probation.
• Ability to analyze information and make quick decisions.
• Strong interpersonal and customer-service orientation.
• Ability to pass drug screening, background check, and physicals.

Responsibilities

• Maintain campus security and safety, engaging with administrators and faculty.
• Write incident reports and logs for irregularities or incidents.
• Monitor parking, traffic, and campus access; enforce rules as needed.
• Communicate emergencies and safety concerns to the appropriate staff.
• Operate and knowledge of security systems, radios, and alarms.
• Assist with safety drills and coordination with deans and principals.
• Support student safety during cafeteria and campus activities.
