Job summary

Stark State College seeks a Campus Security Coordinator to organize emergency planning, coordinate training, and oversee security personnel. The role requires managing the campus-wide key system, RAVE, Access System, and WebCheck, and to act as Deputy Title IX Coordinator as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be commissioned as an Ohio Peace Officer with a minimum of five years' experience as a full-time law enforcement officer.
• Position requires obtaining and maintaining Title IX investigator certification and Deputy Title IX Coordinator within ninety days of hire.
• License valid in Ohio required to operate as campus security officer.
• Experience in university or college security settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations, maintenance, and updates of campus security systems.
• Train and supervise security personnel; ensure compliance with directives and procedures.
• Respond to emergencies, incidents, and hazardous situations; enforce security protocols.
• Conduct Title IX and other investigations; serve as Deputy Title IX Coordinator.
• Collaborate with Chief of Security and university leadership on safety planning.
