Job summary

Adams and Associates, Inc. seeks a Center Security and Safety Supervisor to oversee safety and security operations at our Center in Massachusetts.

Responsible for maintaining safe environment, investigating incidents, enforcing safety regulations, and supervising students and dorm staff as needed. The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma, valid MA driver's license, and ability to lift 40 pounds; advanced degrees preferred and experience with Job Corps or similar programs is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Advanced degrees preferred.
• Must possess a valid in-State Driver's License and meet insurability requirements.
• Physical requirements include lifting up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Follows integrity guidelines and ensures no manipulation of student data.
• Assists Safety & Security Department to maintain a safe and secure Center environment.
• Investigates all accidents/incidents under management direction and prepares required reports.
• Conducts routine safety inspections and assessments of Center equipment and facilities for hazards.
• Enforces occupational safety and health regulations and standards.
• Conducts incident and accident investigations per timelines and requirements.
• Conducts Center-wide security tours and monitors students.
• Responds to emergencies and requests.
• Responsible for Center security, visitor control and student accountability.
• May assist dorm staff in dorm inspections and searches for contraband.
• Maintains security and cleanliness of Center facilities and property.
• May provide residential, recreation and transportation assistance as required.
• Produces quality work and completes assignments thoroughly and timely.
