Job summary

Pepperdine University is seeking a dedicated campus security officer to provide a safe, secure environment across our Malibu campus. You will perform patrols, operate entrance booths, respond to incidents, and collaborate with Public Safety to protect people and property.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, CPR and basic first aid within 90 days, and the ability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and basic first aid certificates within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform building security checks and field patrols; complete officer reports.
• Staff campus entrance booths; screen information and vehicle access.
• Respond to incidents; assist in emergency response and safety enforcement.
• Develop and maintain positive community relations with Pepperdine community.
• Collaborate with Public Safety personnel to foster a professional work environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Public Safety leadership.
