# Campus Safety Office (CSO)10900 Civic Center Dr. - Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730## OverviewSalary Range$16.90 - $16.90 HourlyPosition TypePart Time## QualificationsQualifications: • Must be a born-again Christian. • Must be a credible Christian role model whose godly lifestyle and character demonstrate obedience to God and the Holy Bible. • Must be able to support and comply with the school’s Statement of Faith, Statement of Conduct and Ministry of Teaching statement. • Must be a member of an evangelical, Bible-believing church. • Must possess Biblical knowledge and the ability to integrate Scripture into subject matters taught. • Must have an understanding of and commitment to UC Academy’s educational objectives and philosophy of education. • Background and experience in various dance styles and techniques preferred • Must have sufficient health and physical endurance to be able to complete assigned responsibilities. • First Aid/CPR Certification. • TB clearance with the last four years. • Criminal Justice fingerprint clearance. • Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986: An Eligibility Verification Form (I-9) will be required along with the supporting documents listed on the I-9 form. PERSONAL & SPIRITUAL RESPONSIBILITIES 1.1 Displays a personal decorum that models professionalism, modesty, and good taste 1.2 Models Christian virtues in attitude, speech, and action • Exhibits the fruit of the Spirit (Gal. 5:22, 23) • Models and cultivates habits of prayer, faith, and encouragement in self and others • Participates and contributes to staff devotional and prayer • Commits and contributes to a local church • Possesses a solid and growing knowledge of the Scripture and Christianity • Disciples students toward spiritual growth and maturity • Maintains good health and physical endurance to fulfill job duties CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT & INSTRUCTION 2.1 Facilitates positive, productive interactions in the classroom • Teacher demonstrates genuine care and respect for students • Students exhibit cordial respect for teacher • Students are polite, respectful, and encouraging to one another 2.2 Ensures that students consistently perform at a high level • Students engage in lessons/tasks productively and enthusiastically • Students are intrinsically motivated to give their best efforts • Teacher maintains proper control of classroom • Prepares class for practice and/or game performance if applicable. This job description is meant to cover the key requirements of the job duties. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Sitting (20%), standing/walking (60%), walking (20%), lifting (5%), climbing (5%), bending (4%), squatting (6%). Must be able to lift 10-25 pounds. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work environment includes indoor and outdoor environments and office and classroom settings. Floating desk assignment and/or shared office space may be required; moderate noise levels commensurate to a classroom environment.
