Job summary

Rhodes College is seeking a Campus Safety Dispatcher in Memphis to support campus security and safety operations. The role requires handling 911 and radio dispatch, managing parking decals, and maintaining reports and records with discretion and professionalism.

The position is 40 hours per week (Friday–Tuesday, 6:45 AM–3:00 PM), essential during weather events, with duties including front-office operations and CSA training. Rhodes College offers a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year in dispatching or related organizational experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; able to complete an administrative assessment (keyboard, proofreading, Excel).
• Excellent customer service, strong analytical, communication and administrative abilities.

Responsibilities

• Administer parking program: issue decals, update information and appeals.
• Assist with maintenance of department equipment and supplies.
• Complete required paperwork per Campus Safety Operations Manual and College Handbook; maintain records.
