Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• Advanced degree and/or higher education administration experience preferred.
• Experience with campus safety regulatory frameworks is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage policies and programs for a safe campus.
• Coordinate campus-wide safety, crisis preparedness, and business continuity.
• Lead and supervise the Campus Safety Department, including staffing and development.
• Collaborate with local, state, and federal agencies and law enforcement.
• Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and emergency drills.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations (e.g., Clery Act).
• Investigate incidents, maintain records, and coordinate communications.
• Deliver safety education and prevention initiatives for the campus community.
• Oversee safety technology, budgets, and emergency communication tools.
• Support parking enforcement, events safety, and related services.
