Job summary

University of La Verne is seeking a Safety Aide for the NFWS Campus Safety Department for the 2026/2027 period. The role is Part-Time with rotating shifts, including weekends and night hours, requiring a California driver’s license and ULV student status.

The Safety Aide supports daily department operations, assists officers, and handles reception duties. The position offers opportunities to work with campus safety initiatives and contribute to a secure university environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Campus Safety Communication Center, answering phones, radios, and campus Blue Phones.
• Assist Campus Safety Officers in general operations.
• Maintain knowledge of department policies and procedures.
• Assist with data entry and program review efforts.
• Develop/refine Power Point programs and other media as needed.
• Assist with building opening/closing, escorts, access requests, and other safety services.
• Access campus information to support Officers' field efforts.
