Job summary

The Division of Public Safety at CU Boulder invites applications for Community Safety Official (Tech I). These CSO roles support campus safety through building security, access control, and proactive patrols, working with campus partners to address safety, well-being, and security concerns.

Qualifications

• One year of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Colorado resident required to apply.
• Mediation skills and strong writing/communication abilities.
• Awareness of student-age population and campus resources.

Responsibilities

• Lock and unlock building doors and conduct security rounds.
• Identify, document, and report safety or security concerns for follow-up.
• Provide security escorts for faculty, staff, and students as needed.
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and special events.
• Maintain data and submit reports with proper grammar.
