American University is seeking dynamic Language Coaches to join the CLEAR team. You will help AU students enrolled in World Languages courses develop their language skills, working with a native or highly fluent speaker of the target language.

CLEAR supports language courses and provides staff and resources to enhance learning on campus. Shifts are short, typically 2 hours, with weekly commitments between 6 and 8 hours, including some Sundays.

Qualifications

• Be a native or highly fluent speaker of the language you intend to coach; knowledge of grammar and vocabulary, ability to convey concepts.

Responsibilities

• Support the work of the faculty in World Languages and Cultures at American University.
• Host staff and resources to enhance language courses and facilitate learning experience.
