BARNES & NOBLE EDUCATION, INC. is seeking a Campus Retail Associate to provide exceptional customer service and support store leaders in all facets of retail operations on campus.

Responsibilities include processing sales transactions, greeting customers, assisting with opening/closing tasks, and maintaining a clean, organized store environment. Positions are temporary (90 days or less) with flexible weekly scheduling and weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 16 years of age.
• Confident and comfortable engaging customers to deliver an elevated experience.
• Willingness to learn and excel in a fast-paced team environment.
• Basic math, keyboarding, and data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions involving cash, credit, or financial aid payments.
• Greet customers and foster a friendly atmosphere to ensure a positive experience.
• Support store operations, including operating equipment and cash register for speed and accuracy.
• Keep the store looking fresh by shelving, arranging, cleaning, and organizing products.
• Temporary positions require availability to work weekly for up to 90 days with occasional weekends and flexible scheduling.
• Routine housekeeping such as dusting, mopping, and trash removal.
