Job summary

Sodexo Group is seeking a part-time Cashier at Chapman University to handle retail cash and card transactions, operate the POS, and support store operations across locations. You will contribute to accurate transactions and customer service while maintaining cash security and timely shifts.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent and up to 1 year of related experience, with potential alcohol service certifications depending on location.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 0 to 1 year related experience.
• If alcohol is served at the location, must be at or over the minimum age to serve alcohol per local rules.
• May require alcohol-service certifications (TIPS/TEAM) per location.

Responsibilities

• Operates a cash register, receives payments, makes change, and issues receipts.
• Provides the highest quality of service to customers at all times.
• Maintains proper security of cash at all times.
• Significant walking or other mobility required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, potentially over 8 hours.
• Able to reach, bend, push/pull, and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Attends work on time and adheres to shift schedule.
• Other duties may be assigned based on client needs.
