Barnes & Noble College is hiring a Campus Retail Associate to deliver outstanding customer service and support store operations at our Florida campus. You will assist with transactions, greet customers, and help maintain a clean, organized store environment.

This temporary role offers flexible scheduling, daily pay options, and employee discounts, with potential for development through the Management Development Program.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be 16 years of age or older.
• Confident and comfortable engaging customers to deliver an elevated experience.
• Positive attitude with the willingness to learn and excel in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Basic math, keyboarding, and data entry skills.
• Flexible availability throughout the academic year including peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist with processing sales transactions involving cash, credit, or financial aid payments.
• Greet customers and focus on a positive experience throughout their visit.
• Support store operations including operating equipment and cash register while ensuring speed and accuracy.
• Keep the store looking fresh by shelving, arranging, cleaning, and organizing products or space.
• Temporary positions require availability to work weekly for up to 90 days, with occasional weekends and flexible shifts.
• Routine housekeeping such as dusting, mopping, window cleaning, vacuuming, and trash removal.
