Barnes & Noble College in Orlando is seeking a Campus Retail Associate to deliver superior customer service and support store leaders in daily retail operations.

You will process sales, greet customers, assist with cash register duties, and help keep the store clean and organized. This temporary role requires 90 days max with flexibility for weekends and varied shifts. Benefits including daily pay and employee discounts are available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Basic math, keyboarding, and data entry abilities.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, student-focused environment.
• Flexibility to work during the academic year, including peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions involving cash, credit, or financial aid payments.
• Greet customers and foster a friendly, positive shopping experience.
• Support store operations including operating register and related equipment to ensure fast, accurate service.
• Keep the store tidy by shelving, arranging, cleaning, and organizing products and space.
• Temporary positions require availability weekly for up to 90 days with occasional weekends and flexible hours for opening, midday, or closing shifts.
• Routine housekeeping tasks such as dusting, mopping, window cleaning, vacuuming, and trash removal.
