Job summary

Barnes & Noble College on campus is seeking a Campus Retail Associate to provide superb customer service and support store operations to ensure optimal performance. You will handle sales transactions, greet customers, and help keep the store tidy and inviting.

Candidates must be at least 16 years old, with a positive attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment. Flexible year-round availability is required, including peak periods and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16 years.
• Experience delivering an elevated customer experience.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Basic math, keyboarding and data entry skills.
• Flexible availability during the academic year.

Responsibilities

• Assist with processing sales transactions involving cash, credit, or financial aid payments.
• Greet customers and focus on delivering a positive experience.
• Support store operations including operating equipment and cash register with speed and accuracy.
• Keep the store organized by shelving, arranging, and cleaning.
• Stand ready for 90-day or shorter temporary assignments with flexible shifts.
