Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be in good academic standing with a GPA of 2.0 or higher.
• Must be enrolled as a degree‑seeking student with at least six credits for current or upcoming semester.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Independently implement safe and effective personal training to campus population.
• Provide personal training services including exercise physiology and safety education.
• Conduct fitness assessments (pre‑participation and progression).
• Arrive at least ten minutes before scheduled appointment.
• Knowledge of fitness equipment and proper technique for safe workouts.
• Demonstrate setup and safe usage for clients of varying levels.
• Maintain health and safety standards on the training floor.
• Communicate clearly with clients, EMS, and police as needed.
• Design and evaluate personalized training programs to meet client goals.
• Market and promote Campus Recreation programs.
