Job summary

The Rec Associate role at Highlands College operates and maintains The Rec, supporting the Rec and Fit programs on and off campus. This position is reserved for current undergraduate Highlands College students.

You will manage class attendance, assist with planning and execution of recreation and fitness classes, and keep gym spaces clean. You must stay visible for classes, support instructors, and help coordinate events as needed, while upholding the College's values.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Currently enrolled Highlands College student or alumni preferred.
• Strong customer service and administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage class attendance and check-in process.
• Assist with planning and execution of recreation and fitness classes.
• Organize and maintain cleanliness of the gym, fitness spaces, and studios.
• Maintain high visibility and availability for fitness classes.
• Support the fitness instructors and events.
