Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from an accredited institution.
• Three to five years of police or security-related experience or equivalent.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• First aid and CPR certifications preferred.
• Computer literacy including Microsoft Suite.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the protection of the college community and property on campus.
• Supervise public safety officers and conduct roll calls, directing functions as incident commander when needed.
• Supervise special details and college events, ensuring policy compliance.
• Maintain safety equipment and vehicle components for reliability.
• Direct field training of new officers and submit progress reports.
